Is it me or is the Jealousy trait more of a nuisance than anything else..?

Honestly, this is my major problem with the Sims 4 in a nutshell. I want more depth. I want these traits to actually influence more than just emotions -- I want the interactions to have reaching consequences. I want those toxic relationships with realistic actions and reactions. I love negative traits, and in previous games, they actually did have meanings.

Ah well, I'm hoping as they add more traits, they'll add more depth to them. That would probably be enough to make me start enjoying the game more.
