- loveinstereoNew Spectatorgod i hope not. i hope they start adding some features that can impact the game as a whole, things that are actually new to the game.
we just got a game pack that added no new gameplay, it's basically a bigger stuff pack and the "gameplay" is just the build/buy mode we already had. please don't waste another. - I hope not. There's already so many recipes in the game, plus the Cooking and Baking skills. I'd rather they focus on something difference rather than recycling content over and over again.
- A chef pack seem rather bland
- You mean Dining Out?
- AnmirlaSeasoned VanguardI just figured it might be a vague reference to adding group cooking at the same time we get the CoL pack.
- I really hope not cause I'm really not interested in cooking additions after cottage living
like i literally don't feel a need for more.
maybe nectar making and butter churning would have been nice but cooking tv competition whateverness? nope. - ChadSims2Seasoned NoviceIf they want to add a chef career I have a great idea for it fix Dine Out and let our Sims be the chefs there we don't need an entire pack for something we have but they did not do right in the first place.

So I can't find the tweet but the sim gurus have been tweeting that statue of the pig chef. And someone replied to one asking what it is and one of the gurus replied, it's a chef. Soooo I keep thinking that they are teasing a pack like the one in one of the surveys that talked about some chef pack with cooking competitions.
It's possible. They could very easily put a chef career into an update. - It'd be rather similar to the existing culinary career, but presumably they could differentiate it by requiring baking and gourmet cooking skills. It could be an active profession, but it might be a bit repetitive for that.
- Yeah, I still haven't figured out what the pig was supposed to mean unless it was an animal hint for Cottage Living. They may have been considering pigs at one point.
I'd actually like more culinary stuff, though. They had chef quest on a survey once, where you went on adventures to get ingredients and competed in cooking competitions. I don't necessarily need anything that flashy, but I like cooking so I'd like some new stuff there. Maybe the toaster oven and food processor can make a comeback?
