If I am not mistaken I would not turn on uncompressed Sims Textures if one's system is weak or meeting the minimum as it requires more processing.
the game auto defaulted the game to ultra, it just didn't check the uncompressed sim texture option on its own but i don't know if it's supposed to?
For me Sims 4 would default to an safe level and from there as I know the capabilities of my systems I would tailor it to how I feel my systems can handle it. I also do not place much faith in it but you can gauge for yourself how well and at what level you can safely play at. The 580 (which I still possess but do not use) for the Sims 4 is still an good card to use as it more than enough dedicated memory but today it takes more than just video memory alone to make it an great card. You can turn on uncompressed textures and see how well it runs, if your game starts to hiccup then turn it off.
