No way I am, it looks like a right mess!

My game is running fine right now. I can change clothes with the dresser on anyone in town. I had to do a second update after the initial update. Did anyone else have to update their game twice?
I'm playing an old save with all my cc and mods in the game.

I would say NO, I can't even launch my game since the update was installed!!

I am envious of everyone who did not update and can still play.
Do NOT update. How was this not caught in testing? My mind is blown with the scope of this right now.

In all these years I've learned to have patience. I always wait up to a week until I patch my game. But there is hope: this is the latest news from Sims 4 Discord (links are the same than those in my previous posts in this thread):

I also never update until I'm reasonably sure that the "glaring" base game bugs are sorted out. Offline mode allows me to continue to play.
I also track the status of my mods and generally do not update until at least 80% of them are updated/cleared. Still have a ways to go...

If I could turn back time I would not have updated. I was happily enjoying my game before this update, now I feel like EA have taken something I own away from me without my permission as I cannot play at all, it is that badly bugged. If I were you I would definitely not risk it.

I updated my game, but have not yet played. There are two major bugs right now. The really bad one is a factor if you have the Parenthood pack. The character values for toddlers through teens is glitchy. As Bonnie has mentioned below, this one is actively being worked on. Once we get a fix for this, I will feel safe opening my game. I'm really hoping this happens before the pack releases tomorrow!
The other major glitch is Sims autonomously being mean to one another when they don't have the mean trait and there's no other reason for them to act meanly. I'm hyper vigilant with my Sims, so I'm not as worried about this one. If need be, I'll turn off autonomous mean actions in MCCC.

The only bug I've experienced so far is the Sims being autonomously mean to one another - its affecting both my Sims' moods and relationships! š

Thank you all for the replies, I am really tempted to buy the new expansion pack and play, but it seems like a lot still are having issues in game :(
