If you are like me and dislike using any mods (or if you’re a console player and can’t use mods), then I would suggest waiting for the upcoming patches.
I refuse to install more mods for everything, so I’m still waiting. I’ve enjoyed Sims 4 mostly mod-free (except the supernatural fairies mod) all of these years and I absolutely refuse to be forced to use a mod to fix stuff. (I don’t mind using cheats, but I hate using mods.)
Hopefully, with the vocal backlash, the company will be more motivated to fix their own pack that customers are paying for.
I almost caved and bought it tonight as I'm feeling so miserable and really really want it, but I realized I just cannot bring myself to get it whilst unfixed. So I consoled myself with a chocolate Twirl and a can of Vimto instead. I'm a gal who lives on the edge :D
