Is there a bug involving the roommate system?

Question

In my last gameplay, I had my sim get 7 roommates, and all was going as it should, then I saved and quit. The game saved properly because everything is still in place, including the hot tub is still there. The hot tub is the last item I added before quitting. Then I started up my game save and my sim does not have any roommates, but she does know all the sims. I had her invite them over and they all showed up. I then clicked on the beds to assign who gets which bed, but the only option was for me to assign a bed to my sim, not the roommates. I had already assigned beds to each and every sim, and they were sleeping in them before I saved and quit.

One last thing when I asked her roommates to be her roommates again they all declined, they all said they have their own home.

Is there a bug involving the EA roommate system? And if there is, is there a mod that will fix this? Is there also a location I can bring this up to EA? I don't want to start a new thread if there is already one currently.

@PinkyPus oooh sorry, I misread it then ? that is indeed weird. When I tried to have roommates, I just placed a room full of beds and got them all filled. Maybe yes, your townies are spoiled ?
I wish I could help you out with that, but I don't have a solution. I feel there are some bugs with the system, my roomies always complained about everything, so I rather don't have them.

This is also happening in my game and has been for the past month. I have to re add all roomates everytime I boot up the game. Re: the roomates not being able to move back in, a way to get around this is evict them from any houses they are living in via household manager and make sure they are the only sim in household. I find roomates won't move in with you if they live in a household with others or already have a house.

I haven't experienced it to this extent (yet), but there was a time when my Sim invited someone to be his roommate and the next time I went on to play, he also no longer had a roommate. The only difference was that when he invited her over, he was able to ask her again and she agreed.

No mod that I know of to fix what happened, though.

I'm getting used to the whole roommate thing don't really seem to work properly..
Have anyone had problem with the number of roomates? I play with one sim. I also have a cat (which is a ghost). That males us two living in my home. I tried to get roomates, made three extra bedrooms and three extra bathrooms. Also added one extra kitchen, just in case. So, two roomates moved in. And then I got the message that my roommate ad would be taken down cuz I couldn't have anymore roomates. I still have one bedroom with a double bed no one is assigned to. Anyone got any tips what to do? It's annoying when I made three rooms that it won't work...
I dont play with mods either so it's a clean save

@PinkyPus maybe the problem is the double bed?
I mean the room mates are total strangers, that might not like to sleep next to each other. Its the same when you have a household with 2 sims that have no romantic relationship. They dont sleep in a double bed together.
Try to put 2 single beds in a room, that should work, I guess.
