Another thing to look at is if you added a decor like/dislike to their likes/dislikes. If you checked a decor style as one of their likes, your Sims will become very unhappy if they sense another type of decor item in the home. I finally went back into CAS and unchecked every Sims's decor preference because all they did was throw a fit over furniture and decor items and get an unhappy moodlet. And if Sims have the 'love being outdoors' as one of their traits, that little trait is triggering an unhappy moodlet faster these days. I've noticed a marked decrease in how much time it takes before they get that 'cooped up' moodlet. I had one Sim that took a fierce dislike to a toilet paper holder and had to delete it because he would drop everything in his queue just to go into the bathroom and pitch a hissy fit over a generic object that had been in his house for weeks. RL weeks, not Sim weeks. How odd is it when they don't care about what color things are but hate a simple object such as a toilet paper holder? But once I got rid of the decor preference, I was able to replace the toilet paper holder. It doesn't make much sense, does it?
