Forum Discussion
Realizing this topic was not on everyone's mind, LOL, but I made another finding in Ermelinda's home, so I'll just add a few more pics before allowing the thread to sink.
She is such an interesting character, I really need to understand a bit more regarding her past.
I keep having her research her family history, but so far theree is nothing. I suspect these tidbits would be a bit random anyway, but I hope she will make a discvery one day.
And here's my discovery that I missed when I sarted this trhread:
The speech podium in her throne room carries the Thebe emblem! Why on earth would it display the Seahorse unless 1. Ermelinda descends from the Thebe dynasty. 2. Cordelia lived in this house in he past. 3. Ermelinda chose the Thebe emblem because she is menatally sick and already thinks she (or her son) is head of the Thebe dynasty. 4. Any other reason why the Abrantes did not choose a general swatch for this podium?
She certainly keeps a few more secrets - did anyone discover them, or make some interesting backstory for their game? It's time to wake up and smell the champagne!
Your research topic is interesting to know. But I just saw this thread today (I may be too busy to check the forum at that time). I thought that Ermelinda had a great character design that could make her one of the iconic Sims from this pack.
Her obsession with teal green is so strong in her outfit, but I didn't know that even her house has a lot of teal green and Thebe's elements! Seems that she has a backstory and lore hidden in her house and family line.
Did she have a unique NPC trait that allows us to ask her for her backstory, like premade Sims in previous packs? For example, Tartosa and Tomarang have lore hidden in each main local sim that you can learn more about them after having enough friendship.
I haven't played R&L gameplay yet, and not many reviews of this EP compared to the previous EP (for the reason we knew). I may check this after the playtest again. But they may not have those traits because I haven't seen people mention them. (And it would have missed an opportunity to input lore to them)
