Is there a way to stop llamas, cows bunnies dying?

Bienchen has a mod to stop foxes and rabbits from dying. I have ageing on for chicks to age up, and I use this mod then. When I turn ageing off in the game, I remove this mod. However, I have lately struck, perhaps a conflict because even with ageing off and without this mod, the game is letting my chickens die.
