Is there a way to turn off those annoying NAPs?

Am finding those things to be of no positive value whatsoever, rather an annoyance that makes playing the game more difficult. At best they are stupid and useless (like wearing paper bags). Is there...

For some time I have been able to shift/left click on the mailbox and set my own naps. No problems for me that way. I do have MCCommand, so not sure if this great shortcut is available without the mod. No spaces for voting in naps...yay.
