Is there any way to stop kleptomaniacs stealing from your retail store?

..But real stores really do get nicked from, you know? Every business has it's monthly profit losses too. Stock and otherwise.
I worked in a record shop about a year ago and we spent a month investigating who was stealing our street signs continuously because we had no CCTV. Good thing we laugh in the face of challenge.

Or in true sims fashion just find the darn hot-handed klampit and lock them in a pool surrounded by walls.
