This is a really annoying feature. There is an elderly sim I caught stealing paintings in my art gallery. Thankfully he didn’t steal the masterpiece, but I couldn’t get him to leave. I tried “ask customer to leave,” and she couldn’t. So I kept telling him to go away and he kept coming back. He even swiped one of my restock signs. She saw him do it because her image came up in the queue and it said “see what’s happening.” It’s just frustrating that if you see them and know what’s going on, there’s no loss prevention option or some way to stop them from doing it.
