Yikes. Sorry, but I think some people are taking the game way too seriously and reading too much into it. It's a fantastical game in a fantasy world, it's not reality. There's nothing about consent not being given, it's up to the player to decide what happened. As it should be. It's only males who ever got impregnated, which is what makes it ridiculous and fantastical. We're talking about Aliens, not even humans for crying out loud. It's complete fiction. The abductions are a staple of The Sims and should continue as they always have in past games. If people get offended by that, they're oversensitive.
In my mind, Sim males aren't even impregnated by woohoo because in Sims 4, the "pollinator" Aliens are female. My theory is that Aliens have a completely different biology that's more akin to plants and impregnation happens by some kind of exposure to weird airborne particles. ?
Also, the entire Alien abduction satire comes from the old wild stories in the 70s from people who claimed to have been woken up in the night by strange lights and taken aboard a spaceship to be experimented on, which is why Sims are dazed. And I honestly don't think anyone is so impressionable that they're going to see their male Sim get comically abducted by a flying saucer and come back to have a baby, and suddenly think they can go out and take advantage of someone. That's absolutely ridiculous.
