I was busily playing my game trying to get closer to a special event on my Sims' calendar. One of my Sims is ailing from a cold. I had her purchase the medication from the phone, that is supposed to cure whatever ails ya. But I also decided to have her brew up some healthy green tea, since in RL it's known to help. A few minutes later, the dern tea set is on FIRE.
Honestly, that just sounds like average sim bad luck, to me. 😄
Turning tea in to fire is pretty extreme. Maybe the game now allows cooking skills to go negative?
Jokes aside, I did once have an electric kettle catch fire, so you can't really completely trust anything that plugs in the mains.

I am sorry that you had the issue with the tea set catching on fire 🙁It would have given you a shock and surprise when that happened!
