A lot of these people complaining seemed to have hated the game/had severe misgivings of the game from day one but still invested full price and were with it from early on. A lot of people think that doing this will give them a larger voice on what the game should be and... tbh all it does it create resentment.
I think you guys could be right. I bought the base game when it came out and I enjoyed it for what it is, not what it was 'missing'. I got the first 2 EPs but due to a 2 year hiatus from the community, I bought the rest on sale in November last year. So for me, I'm still exploring a dozen packs and I'm always finding something new. But then I play incredibly slowly in my main games and haven't done half the things from each pack yet. I've only just put a dog in a household! :D
