It sure as heck feels like it, with all these morose threads, as soon as new content is out, there's always someone loudly begging for more, especially if the newest content wasn't up to expectations.
It has varied over time, but dating all the way back to Sims 1, it has been pretty typical to get new content _roughly_ every three months, or once a quarter.I think you need to do some fact checking on that. I'm pretty certain new content was about every 6 months.

What is the usual suggestion when someone is missing something/someone? Isn't it usually to get on with life, do other things, to make the time fly?
