It has to do with SimGuruNinja leaving out the "ru" in a post tagging SimGuruFrost... I'm not sure if it was deliberate or not.

I thought maybe he was tossing us another bone like he usually does with his name changes on twitter.

I just got out of my game and before I closed down Origin it suggested I refresh in order to get a game content patch. Say, what? I pulled my Mods folder, even so and hit refresh. A big fat nothing-burger! Guess I'll take this time to make a copy of my saves and Tray files. Hate the thought my mods might be out of use for another week or so. Just got them all back in place after the last patch. Sheesh! But, I like what they're doing with these general little 'fixes'. :smiley:

Happy to hear this but until the "emotions" get an overhaul i can't see it making much of a difference. The emotions still keep the sims personality from shining through imo.
But im happy to be proven wrong and maybe they will work on that next.
The evil jealous and childish traits are my favorite. Would love to see the improvement on them ?

Some people complain that "traits" aren't working. Works fine in my game, a mean Sim will actually be mean. A friendly Sim actually friendly. A music lover may start randomly singing or play an instrument. Etc...

...complain traits aren't working, then have autonomy shut off. Kind of a 'catch-22'. :smirk:

A dilemma or difficult circumstance from which there is no escape because of mutually conflicting or dependent conditions.

If 'traits' are somehow improved, no complaints from me. I was skeptical of the 'sentiments', but actually find they add nicely to the characters.

And if you don't want a Sim to be mean or evil or something, don't give them that trait. Or don't play them, or just delete them. Otherwise use fulleditmode to change it. Even without cheats, you can buy a re-traiting potion. I think that only does reward traits though.

Recently I was tempted to delete "Villareals", but thought about it, it may actually be fun to have a stereotypical fictional "Evil Villain" household. Hmm... :D

Not a fan of the wood texture on the bunk though, it looks kind of alpha. Maybe it was designed as part of their CC creator collab?

I download alpha cc, it tends to have much more realistic textures and details. Many items are based on real life furniture. This looks more maxis, it is pretty plain. Peacemaker is one of those creators that is used by both the mm and alpha builders. If we could get bunk beds to match Peacemaker’s wardrobe that would have been so useful. I am not sure how I feel about the upper bunk being potentially modular, really wanted the upper and lower bed frames to match. Bedspreads do not need to be the same but should compliment one another.

They likely will match. That loft swatch matches the "teen" single bed with the guitar design bedding. Likely it also matches the Mod Pod single (chapest bed).

I think the problem of
evil , mean and hotheaded traits
is that there should be difference and yet all these 3 traits result to same behavior of mean and mischief interactions out of nowhere

for examples:

Sim A might be very evil


then i might have sim B who is mean



and then perhaps sim C the pizza guy


and yes as person who usually enjoys evil sims i kind of find it irritating when they behave like they have the other 2 traits even though i have not assigned so

like yes obviously character could very well be evil hot headed and mean pizza guy who gets mega angry at you asking to get pizza with no pineapple, trashes your house, starts fight with you and be mean to you all the time and then plots to kidnap all sims in your neighborhood to their secret dungeon and maybe frames you for it

but if i just assigned one of those traits they shouldnt be

Trait improvements... whatever that's supposed to mean.

I mean the wood texture and the mesh looks very simple and low quality similar to a lot of "alpha" cc bunk beds. Official maxis EA style items usually have more detailed textures and the meshes of them are usually more 3d looking.

This is all pretty exciting! I am both excited and worried about the trait improvements though. Hopefully everything will be fine and it won't cause too many bugs. I would love to see the personality traits improved as long as my Sims still act normally without any bugs affecting them. But yeah, I think I'm more excited about the trait improvements honestly. Bunk beds are cool, but I personally won't use them very much.
