- Im getting to the point that I want to put the whole furnishings and the pool into the inventory as even in winter my sims decide to take a dip in the pool, why because its there. I put in a bookcase and they just read and cancel everything else. They exercise on the equipment. They use the computer all the time or like the teens of old they turn on the tv or the stereo. The gaming rig is another thing that gets over used. Also the sinks they keep drinking water. I feel like only taking things out of inventory when I want them to use them and giving them only the very basics in the house.
- I don't have a ban on any items but I do have several no autonomous behavior mods installed.

For the pool, why don't you enclose it like a patio with a glass roof? - LolaLuvsSims7 years agoSeasoned Ace@MaggieMarley You can get the highchair foods under quick meals now, unless that another mod I forgot about.

I hate that thing its like sims are drawn to it. The talking toilet I hate to so I replace places that have them.
Definitely the Globe Bar. Nothing sends me into a rage quite like that dang bar when my sim drops the action I set up to go get a stupid drink. I was trying to get Bella to read to Alex for 2 hours to help fulfill his aspiration. She'd drop it after about 20 minutes to go get a drink. Over and over again. Enough already!
And when the sim kids/teens are going through a Loud phase, the stereo goes into the inventory. Otherwise every single time there's a lull in activity, they immediately head for the stereo to crank it to full blast. I wouldn't mind, except the Loud phase tends to get stuck and my sim kids/teens will have it until they age to YA. - Stina1701A7 years agoSeasoned AceCard game table and the globe drinking thing. Sheesh! Talk about obsession!
- I don't really have anything banned in the game over all - but do often not put certain items in some households if they seem to obsess a certain sim to the point it has no benefit for them or that keeps them from doing other things I want them to do at the time. I don't get rid of the item - but will put it in the family inventory for a while. With only 1 exception - that globe bar - in households with butlers - they never get to have a globe bar because the butlers are very obsessive of those things. On top of it they leave half filled glasses all over the place from using it.
- I always have a strong ban on sinks and bars in all of my houses, and refrigerators come out of the family inventory only when they can be used under strict supervision.
I tend to make households with athletic sims only (so they won't get fat.) So all I have to do is take my eyes off of my sims for a half of a second, and there they go self-destructing their bladder again...... it's a nonsensical problem to ever have to deal with, it drives me crazy, and I really don't want to be that frustrated every time I try to play. So I don't.
I'm happy to report that my game is a much better place without them, but of course I would much rather be able to just have a normal house. - None since I figured out how to stop other sims using them via MCCC.
- With much regret... Pets and bars
