- simwolf797 years agoNew AceHoliday gnomes, cheap stoves and the globe bar are all on my list. I also never use coffee machines of any description or any of the large stuff like big TVs, the gaming rig, telescope etc unless they are required for an aspiration in which case they are locked into a room and sold as soon as they're done with. I also lock away the computer until needed, but always buy one.
- Stereos, highchairs and book cases. I wish I could ban water too xD
- Highchairs because oh my god just let that child eat
Dollhouses because oh my god stop breaking it
Lump of clay oh my god stop playing with it and feed your starving child
Close to banning my sims themselves as they are forever deleting their queued actions and standing doing NOTHING! No reason to delete the queue. Just because they felt like it. - halloweenchild137 years agoSeasoned AceAll of the items above is why I have autonomy turned off, saves me a huge headache but is a shame because I really like how the sims are more proactive (for lack of a better word) to do things. It's just they're so easily distracted by things they want to do that they end up frustrating the player. Kinda reminds me of animation vs animator...
- Eik4si47 years agoNew AceSince I like to micromanage every one of my sims they rarely have enough time to choose what objects to use on their own, even with autonomy on. But some autonomous actions tend to cancel the ones made by the player and that really drives me crazy. Playing dolls with a child is one of them, taking a toddler out of the high chair (once I had a sim that couldn't go to work because the action kept being cancelled by that stupid toddler in their high chair), dreaming big on the basketball hoop... Most of them have been toned down a little but I will never understand why it is simply possible for the game to cancel what the player did because it would rather play itself. The worst experience I had recently was with the card table, which simply made it impossible for the player to make their sims eat. The action was constantly cancelled in favor of playing cards. I deleted the object in the household I was playing at the time and never used it again. I guess in a few months I may try and see if it is fixed but for now I just don't want to see it in one of my households again.
I would really like any autonomous action that cancels the player's to disappear from this game forever. Please game, I would like to play, not watch you play yourself, thank you. - The childrens dollhouse - my Sims have an unhealthy obsession (even ones who you wouldn't expect) with kicking it and ruining it. They can never be bothered to fix it and my Sim child ends up crying.

The only object I actually completely banned from my game is the talking toilet. - The cheapo beds that cause Uncomfortable moodlets.
- simwolf797 years agoNew AceI have also banned the +10 for everything beds, otherwise my sims don't sleep all the way through the night as the bar fills too quickly. It throws off daily routines so much :D
