Johnny Zest

I see Johnny Zest as the disowned son of Nancy and Geoffrey, but now that I think about it, he could be a nephew. Maybe Johnny was disowned by his parents and moved to Oasis Springs for a fresh start. In that case, do Nancy and Geoffrey even know that he was disowned in the first place? Do they even know he's there?

The story arc is all jacked up. I believe Johnny is suppose to be the father of Dudley and Mimi (from Sims Bustin Out). This Malcolm (Nancy's Son ( is the uncle Malcolm that bails them out all the time, he is also the grandfather of the Malcolm in the Sims 2 arc. In the Sims Bustin Out arc (Mimi is a party animal as an adult and Dudley are both losers in life -like his dad Johnny- who didn't amount to anything and in the game Dudley lives in a dirty trailer that you see Johnny living in now and bums off his Uncle Malcolm all the time.) There's a fan page somewhere explaining this. I'll post it when I find it.

I really wish they brought back the story archs. I bet they would've kept them going if the game initially came with family trees. They were so fun to look at and play the premades and it gave us simmers something to talk about. Srry for double post.

But yeah doesn't say if he is a son or a brother. I guess he'll be the mystery character for this iteration like Bella Goth's disappearance was in the Sims 2.

This is an interestingly timed thread, as I had just started a new thread, and in order to seed a neighborhood with my own sims, evicted Johnny Zest out of his house. (It's a blah house, anyway that I replaced with my gym which I upgraded to a spa with the new pack) He is still hanging around as a townie, so after reading this thread, will definitely get him back in a house.

That's not me. I am Samsonguy9000 there, too.

My legacy founder married Johnny Zest. He was a lot of work to chase!! I was almost afraid he was non-commital or loner, but he's so adorable, I had to keep after him. He was well worth it for me though. He was so romantic with her. Anytime I didn't give him something to do he was flirting with her, reading her poetry, kissing her hands/cheek, whispering in her ear...constantly. They are soul mates.

I have so many photos of him it's ridiculous! I'll limit myself to two of them only. ;)

Right before Kaylee proposed (she dated and pursued him for like 16 days before he gave in), there was this...the creation of their son.


Here is the proposal the next morning. This was the day after his elder birthday party at his home in Oasis Springs.


(OK, three only) Here is Johnny holding little Kale. He died the next day, but she did manage to get a daughter, Katrina, from him as well.


His ghost is in the private graveyard on the lot where Kaylee raised his children in Willow Creek. Yes, they still have an ongoing romantic thing.

Well, that story took a sharp turn into a tunnel. I think I need to get a neckbrace for whiplash. She is not only a legacy founder, but a black widow.
