- I got it on sale because of a friend and gave it a fair shake. I don't care for it. It doesn't play well with other DLC and the main parts are vacation world locked. It is one of those that you can buy and it will not mess up your saves (by assets leaking out of Batuu, I have no idea if they fixed all the SW outfit issues with supernaturals), but that also means it does not do that much for you.
So, it won't hurt you if you want to risk it, but from my perspective it is the worst pack (though another disappointed me more). - AineOfMay4 years agoSeasoned AceIf there's something you actually want and know you'll use in the game, then why not. I personally know I wouldn't use any of it, and just be annoyed that the stuff is cluttering up my game, so for me it's a clear no, even if I only had to pay 1 buck for it. Hey even if I got payed to get it, I wouldn't. But that's only because there's nothing in it I'm interested in, and I am even a Star wars fan. I guess you know you best, and if you really think you'll get something out of it, there's reason enough I think.
- DaWaterRat4 years agoSeasoned AceEven if Star Wars isn't your thing, there's a lot of really nice clutter and decor (There are a couple of lights I use regularly - and most of them size down well) that I think makes the pack worth it anyway - very little of it is so specific to Star Wars that it's only suitable for geek rooms. There's also a fair amount of clothing that can work even in normal settings as well (not all, to be sure) or as alternate Halloween costumes (though you'll have to change to those manually) Prior to DHD, it was also the only pack I'd found with male and female low-heel "English riding" style boots (Thank you, First Order Uniforms)
And it's currently the only way to get gambling in your sims game without a mod, but that may not be interesting for everyone. - Joanne_Snow4 years agoLegend

I still don’t want it, even on sale.
I feel this. Every time it's on sale I think "maybe for the BB?", then I remember how barebones it actually is and buy something else xD - InuMiroLover4 years agoSeasoned AceI would say get it if you have a genuine interest in the gameplay and believe that SW content will find a place in your playstyle. Me personally, just liking one hairstyle in a pack I dont care much about isnt enough for me to justify buying it, especially when (if you're on pc and like cc) I can find a decent cc lookalike and download it for free.
- elliebreton4 years agoLegendI would say go for it.
I have never been a Star Wars fan. I watched a few of the films but they're not really my thing.
I let my sims visit Batuu as an adventure theme park. I also have a SW themed restaurant in Strangerville and some houses there which have a Batuu style to them, cos I figured it would suit that town quite nicely. But you could have a themed restaurant or retail store in any town really. - I enjoyed it on 50% sale. To be transparent though I also added mods to allow my occults to use powers and I also built on the lots to add themed living areas so my sims could rest up somewhere not a rabbit hole. With those two things I did get good mileage out of it and I like the items from it. That said it's a pretty weak pack compared to others. Would never have paid full price.
- LiELF4 years agoLegendThere's a lot of build/buy and CAS assets in this pack and they are some of my absolute favorites. If you like to get creative with your Sims or lots, this pack is wonderful for that, even if you don't care to use the Batuu world. There's also a lot of stuff for Geek Sims to be nerdy Star Wars fans if you play more realistically.
And, there are a few CAS items that are more "normal", the colors are in shades of neutrals and the males get probably more in this pack than any other. On sale I'd say it's still totally worth it for someone who doesn't care about the "Star Wars experience".
Here's a few screenies of some of the CAS:Spoiler
This draped hood is one of my faves. I also love the skirt and top. All come in Batuu.

This head piece made me think of nuns so I made a convent in my game. On the far right is that skirt and top again.

More feminine assets from Batuu in lighter tones:

Most of these came from Batuu except the tops from pics 1 and 3 and the boots from pic 1:

Only the skirt in pic 1 is not from Batuu:

This top is very versatile for historic outfits:

As is this male one:

And here's a Batuu skirt that I used for my Egyptian Osiris god:

My Four Horsemen of the Simpocalypse made good use as well. War's helmet, Famine's outfit and Pestilence's hood and top:

Anyway, I hope that helped inspire. Batuu is way underrated for its creative potential. - That must be a regional thing. I just checked on Steam and it's full price.
- SEREFRAS4 years agoLegendIt's so cool for SiFi play & most of the townie outfits actually is useful for historical play. Plus very cool objects & gameplay. B)
