Jungle adventure vs outdoor retreat ?

Outdoor retreat has a tinty little “world” and there really isn’t much to play with apart from chilling. This pack seems quite amazing and huge !

For those with both packs do you think Jungle Adventure is better ? I haven’t got it yet but I do have Outdoor retreat and I am bored to dead by it !

  • I am actually getting bored of it only exploring the temple once ..... I miss world adventures.
  • I love JA, I've gone a few times and I'm not bored yet. Then again I enjoy packs like this so...
I'm also don't get bored to quickly with anything and prefer to take my time and experience it all. It'll also help to add different venues to the world's with more fun stuff to do.

I wonder.. can you camp in jungle adventures too? Like are there little houses for rent to stay in while on vacation or can you just pop out a tent and stay in there while being on an adventure? I have already been to outdoor retreat many times and it is kinda boring.. yes. Mostly rabbit holes and nothing to do besides fishing or eating. So i am wanting to see a new world but only if i can pass through it with my camping story i have in mind..

You can certainly camp in JA, but you have to rent a lot to be able to stay there in the first place - just like OR. JA does not come with a pre-made rentable campsite (unlike OR, all the rentable lots have villas on them), but you can always bulldoze one of the villas (or the museum lot, which is pretty much a waste of space) and create your own campsite, if that is what you want.
  • JA is amazing, whereas OR was a fun vacation destination and relaxing overall, but a bit void of new things to do apart from the horseshoe game. I did however like going there as it's a pretty world and with a restaurant and spa added it did always feel like a "retreat" from modern life (this does however require you to own both DO & SD, so that's definitely a bummer if you don't). JA however is just awesome. The setting is amazing, the villas are cool, there's plenty new gameplay, love the market, the exploring and temples and the little bits of "magic" in there (with the totems you can find). So all in all: JA is miles better than OR to me.
  • I love the exploration, know knowing everything at once. Having to stock up on gear or face the consequences. Plus it is such a beautiful world and I love that it isn't all at sea-lvl, you are both down at the harbour and way up high in the mountains.

My sim is already planning the next round.
