- netney525 years agoNew SpectatorTop 5:
1 city living
2 island living
3 jungle adventure
4 backyard stuff
5 outdoor retreat
Bottom 5:
1 eco lifestyle
2 vampires
3 get to work
4 luxury party
5 bowling night - I don't own all the packs so these are just from the ones I own
Top 5:
1. Island Living - love it, love it, love it
2. Jungle Adventure - Easily the best GP I have, a really strong pack
3. Tiny Living - Not usually a fan of SPs but tiny living is a nice pack
4. Seasons/Cats and Dogs/Realm of Magic (not really sure how to rank these three)
5. Eco Lifestyle - This pack is 50% great, 50% awful in my opinion
Bottom 5:
1. Get Together - Not a fan, don't really get it to be honest. Hate the dreary world and the pack just feels all over the place
2. Discover University - Very one time use pack, none of the build-buy/cas/world stuff are usable outside of university and I don't see myself playing with university ever again.
3. Toddler Stuff - Don't like the direction of the pack, not what I wanted it to be at all. Didn't add what I wanted for my toddlers
4. Get Famous - Fame gets boring pretty quickly, the world isn't very playable and the acting career is terrible and too slow (one job a week yayyy)
5. City Living - Looked much more fun in the trailers, it's just a bit meh for me. Biggest peeve is that none of the penthouses are usable - 2 are giant and the other one is a decent size but I'm yet to find a good renovation without 500 packs so I haven't been able to use it - simsimsere5 years agoSeasoned AdventurerMy favourites:
- Get Together - love the huge world, love the clubs, love the style.
- Seasons - it's a must have.
- City Living - CL has grown on me slowly and I don't hesitate to list it as my third favourite. Love the big city vibe and festivals.
- Dine Out - I use it a lot and I love how customisable the restaurants are. Haven't run a restaurant yet.
- Vampires - I like vampires and I love how they were done. Only bad thing is I mostly play mortal sims.
My least favourites:- Discover University - it's not something I needed for my gameplay, it's okay but not super fun.
- Cool Kitchen - unfortunately this is my least favourite stuff pack, still use it though.
- My First Pet - I don't own this pack, but the CAS & build/buy disappoint me. Also that it's a separate hamster pack.
- Cats and Dogs - I'm not happy with the strong focus on CAP and pet illnesses/vet career in this pack, could be better.
- Realm of Magic - I love supernaturals just not really feeling this pack. I think it's missing something.
- Get Together - love the huge world, love the clubs, love the style.

1. City Living
2. Get together
3. Dine Out
4. Seasons
5. Parenthood
Least favorite
1. Vampires
2. Get famous
3. Strangerville
4. Romantic garden
5. Perfect Patio - Simburian5 years agoNew TravelerI've now got them all and cannot now remember how to put five of each in order as I mix and match them all.
I like bits of all of them but must say that I've found Dine Out the most useful so far as I love making restaurants and cafes but the GTW Windenburg Tudor theme the best for World, decorations and objects. I have complete worlds of Tudor! The rest I cannot list in any order. - Just for Funsies lol ?
For me my favourite packs are: ?
1. Seasons
2. Cats and Dogs
3. Parenthood
4. Discover University
5. Laundry Day
My least favourites are:
1. Spooky Stuff
2. Luxury Party Stuff
3. Perfect Patio Stuff
4. Outdoor Retreat
5. City Living
That being said I'm glad I have them all. They do all add something to the game. I haven't dabbled too much with IL, GF or SV and EL is just too fresh from the oven it's hard to know - alan6505 years agoNew SpectatorFavs: Seasons, Discover University, Get Famous, Realm of Magic, Eco Lifestyle (Sans NAPS which I hope they fix!)
Least: StrangerVille, Bowling Night, Tiny Living, Perfect Patio, Spa Day - Simmerville5 years agoSeasoned AceBased on what features I actually use (but this might change every time I play...)
Top 5:
1. Get together = love the world and clubs system
2. City Living = often play sims in the city and think it's well made
3. Seasons = seasons and weather makes the game 100 times more interesting and varied.
4. Get famous = I like the fame system, I use it for a lot more than actors etc.
5. Dine out = Love building and playing restaurants, the variety is unlimited
Bottom 5:
1. Parenthood = hate the advice popups and hardly use the personality extra traits system
2. Glamour/butler = so little content when the butler is broken bill wise
3. Cats & Dogs = Well made but I hardly ever play pets (they take a bit too much attention I think)
4. Get to work = Hardly played any career yet, but use lots of the items.
5. Discover university = I like it, but it gets repetitive, so I just rush through it when someone go there. - Top Five:
- Vampires
- Realm of Magic
- StrangerVille
- Island Living
- Jungle Adventure
Bottom Four:
- Parenthood - Some childhood phases, like mean and loud, seem to last too long.
- City Living - I like San Myshuno but I'm not a fan of weirdoes or how apartments were set up.
- Get Together - I like Windenburg and the activities that came with it but not the club aspect.
- Cats and Dogs - I like Brindleton Bay but I don't much like the pets or game generated dog walkers. - Top 5:
1. Vampires (I think 4 has the best vampires in the series. Plus I love the world and all the build/buy and CAS stuff.)
2. Seasons (Nice, well rounded addition in all aspects.)
3. Eco Lifestyle/Island Living (If considering use as a big factor, I really do use the stuff added with these two. I love Sulani and mermaids, even if they could be better. These two packs really round out an off the grid lifestyle I like to play. Eco Lifestyle itself, as buggy as it was and not a theme I would have asked for, felt ambitious and I liked a lot of the little details that came with it and the update around it. Definitely needs some work to earn the spot, so I am putting the two together.)
4. Parenthood (I am not necessarily a huge family or generational player, but I do think 4 has the best toddlers and Parenthood was solid in additional play for families for me.)
5. Kids Room Stuff (Surprise pick, even for me, since I usually don't play kids. Still, even with the bed monster being annoying, I do like it being a feature. Plus, I have grown to truly adore the voidcritters. They just should have been playable with teens at least, too.)
Bottom 5
1. Cats and Dogs (Give or take My First Pet Stuff, too) (Pets are my make it or break it pack every iteration and did these amazing looking, but soulless pets break it. I have NPCS without relationships taking up family slots running around my house, and children cannot walk or bathe them. Just sigh.)
2. Realm of Magic (It was not the absolute worst, especially for the added items, but witches were my favorite occult in 2 and 3. After vampires, I was fairly looking forward to them. Casters, though, with a fair skill tree feel way too similar to one another. The bloodline traits and world were cool ideas that did not get the attention they needed to be great and the casters themselves can only be distinguished through purely aesthetic choices. I was thinking maybe I could do something with the curses to be like vampire weaknesses, but it does not work that well. Just another disappointment to me in an area I usually love.)
3. Bowling Night Stuff (I just don't use it. Seems kind of pointless.)
4. Outdoor Retreat (I like some of the things they tried to do with it, but locking all the bugs to Granite Falls makes using the herbalism skill impractical and I just don't go camping that often. I don't regret buying it, but it is lower on my list.)
5. Insert Randon Stuff Pack Here (I thought about throwing Get Together under the bus for how little I use clubs, but you can do some useful things with them and the world is a good one. Strangerville also has a good world and an interesting enough narrative, plus I like the clothes and story opportunities. Then I could throw Get To Work under the bus, too, since it feels kind of bland, but I would absolutely want aliens, the active careers, and retail opportunities. Spa Day was not amazing and I don't really use spa lots, but I do use the items and interactions at home. Dine Out is buggy, but I love the concept. City Living offers apartments and festivals, plus all sorts of new recipes, at least. So yeah, I was left with stuff packs that mean about the same to me. Pick one.)
