Just Got "Game Data Incomplete" Message - AGAIN!

Thanks Chaotic_Moira. Yes, I'd been there and seen that.
I did the repair game, what I think I didn't do after the expansion packs had reinstalled was a shut down and restart. That's when I went to play I only had three worlds! That was heart stopping moment!
I did a second repair, which happened dead fast. Shut down, restarted and all's back to how it was - apart for all the new things after nearly 2 years of not patching and updating, and playing off line.
YAY, all happy again.

Nope, it just updated my game but still has that message.

I only have 3 worlds, the other four have disappeared?

Phew! Fixed. That was a nasty experience!
Ooh, and a forced update which I had avoided for the last 2 years since that dreaded November patch! A whole new interface, and new things to explore.

Did you repair each pack? I just found this from a google search.

It is good to hear everything is fixed. I've heard a number of horror stories about antivirus just deciding something is bad and taking action all by itself. I also have few programs that tend to get flagged generally or everytime the antivirus updates. So I have spent plenty of time troubleshooting some issues myself.

If I had to wager a guess, it may well have fiddled with something, but so long as it is fixed all is good. I've forgotten several of the specifics of white listing programs with various antiviruses, but it may be worthwhile to look into your specific's policy on white listing.

Something definitely "fiddled" with something, as it's the first time I've tried to play since it was installed.
I actually did run the game to see if everything was okay afterwards, but I didn't try to play a saved game.

Anyway, I have the antivirus, anti-tracker and VPN all on and firing, and my game plays.
I really don't know what could have occurred. Just one of those mysteries I guess. But thanks for the repair game option.

It's definitely something to do with whatever the computer guy did installing my new anti virus, as my other laptop has the same problem. I'm repairing game as I type.
It must have knocked something out.
