Sims 3 was my first sims game and I was addicted when I first started playing it back when it first came out, I loved everything about it, I literally felt like I was playing a virtual doll house. I always made my Sims do insignificant things just because I wanted them to do it, like sit in a specific spot, or just go out in the world somewhere and have a picnic, I never played the game to actually progress my Sims lives and stories. I was a die hard fan of Sims 3, even when 4 came out, in fact I completely despised 4 at launch for a really long time until I gave the game a chance about a year and a half ago and realised that it's the game I prefer out of Sims 3 and 4. Something about The Sims 4 just gets me really invested in my Sims lives, for my play style 4 has the most depth compared to 3, it seems everything I do in my Sims life has some sort of a reaction, many may argue that these reactions don't have many long term impacts, but as a player witnessing these reactions the Sims share with one another is really meaningful to me and the way I play.
