Kayleigh's Dilemma

Little Andrew was finally out of bed after his three older siblings went off to school. His dad was off on a photoshoot, followed by an away concert. When he returned it was off to the Studios to start recording for his 22nd album. In the meantime, Kayleigh changed the very dirty diaper of her newborn and youngest child. Then went to see about the Toddler, Andrew. He was finished with his meal and she was quick to remove him from the high chair. However, he needed a bath, like yesterday! So, I queued it up for her to give him a bubble bath in the downstairs bathroom, just off of the kitchen. In fact, there is a door from the kitchen to said bathroom, just a few steps away. No real effort required. She puts him down, chats with him and instead of taking him for his bath, she places him back into the highchair. I click on the tub again to give her another chance to do what needs be done. The child has plumes of green fog emanating from his little self. Clearly, he's one stinky little kid. Kayleigh, get a grip!

Why I came over here to share this is the fact that it very much sounded like Andrew said, "I sowy." in a rather plaintive voice. He's sitting with his ne arm raised, pleading with Mom to give him the bath. He must have initially refused. LOL This is why I love this game.

I often do not experience interactions like this since I cheat to fill needs almost constantly. If I’m in the mood to do some everyday life play I’ll challenge myself to play slowly and take care of needs, but my sims have so much to do and have so many mood swings from other aspects of the game that I don’t want to spend all my gameplay having them pee, shower, eat and sleep and have their moods dominated by that

Yes, she finally did! I'm starting to wonder about the moms in my game, though. I feel as if I have to pull teeth to get them to take proper care of their wee ones. It's wearying to me. Nurturing is what mother's do, after all. I do have to commend their very busy father for jumping in when he can. Plus, he's a marvelous cook.
