Perhaps they can release a modified door that will look the same but have the functions you desire, and leave the previous doors be for those who still want them.
Right now the doors won't create "working, separate bathrooms". They don't have that special functioning since the update. One of the changes I suggested, of making it filter based on gender is referring to the main "sex" distinguisher it's usually based on, essentially giving it back its original function. The changes recommendations were changes to how it is
now, not necessarily giving it a different purpose/function to how it was
originally.
