Kit Packs: Yay or Nay?

I originally hoped that kits could fill the holes in between larger packs and potentially bring some niche requested items and aspects of CAS, BB and gameplay in a more responsive and timely way.
However, as of yesterday, they still seem to be set on doing exactly what they want to produce, rather than what has been requested and in addition they haven't been all that quick to produce the kits either, so we've still experienced a six month drought.
I truly like innovation and some of their creations have been desirable, but I also want to see some requested items appear, like for example the scientist kit in miniature: telescope, microscope, etc. and additional kitchen appliances.
