Does anyone know if we can cheat in the knitting rug fail? I tried bb.showhiddenobjects and bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement cheats. All they gave me was the regular knit rugs, but no failed rug. ...

I don't think so. I haven't payed attention, I'm using it in front of the tv.
My sim's getting tense from dumpster diving in the parks I made. She's a neat sim and I made the parks as a part of her fishing travels, so she has a place to fix her needs. But she doesn't get negative moodlets at home, so the rug may not have any effect. But I don't know for sure.
