Midsummer Sale New Additions

Backyard - some great clothing items I use a lot, for BB I especially love the triple picture and the tabletop stuff with the sauce bottles etc. The shark water slide is also a favourite, my sims have a lot of fun on that and it gets placed in public parks.

Vintage Glamour - for me, it's not a favourite and I probably wouldn't miss it if I didn't have it. Sometimes I remember to use the dressing tables but not often.

First Fits - I didn't fancy this one at first and it took me a while to buy it but I gotta say the clothing gets a ton of use in my game. My faves are the boots and trainers but most of the stuff gets used a lot. Surprisingly, it has ended up being one of my favourite kits, certainly my favourite CAS kit.

Country Kitchen - I loved using the items when it first came out but have to admit that I prefer the kitchen stuff from the Cottage Living pack, which is fairly similar but better IMO. But, if you don't have CL you will likely love the pack.

I only have Vintage Glamour from this list. Butler was a bit disappointing but I love the female semi-sheer long dressing gown for sleepwear. Still trying out this pack as I just got it at the first Summer Sale.

I love the backyard stuff pack one of my favorites!    I find I use a lot of stuff from the pack.  The water slide is great for kids ( and adults ), and is great for venue water lots too.  I love the little things you can put in the yard, and the wind chimes, I also like the bird feeder your sim can interact with and the little bird house.    I love stuff packs overall because they not only come out with at least one new active item, but they also come with hair, other CAS stuff, and build/ buy stuff.  Country kitchen is a favorite of mine I love all the little clutter items and the cabinets that come with that kit as well as the new appliances, (fridge, stove, etc.).  I tend to use the cabinets and clutter a lot.  I have vintage glamour , but I wouldn’t say it is at the top of my stuff pack list, but it has its place.  All stuff packs come with new hair styles which I like.  Kids fit kid brings an addition of stuff for children which is hard to come by if you don’t use mods.

If you like things for children, kids room stuff pack is a very good pack.  The kids can collect and play with void critters, or have a puooet show.  It also has some cute beds and furniture for kids, and children’s clutter.   I think it also comes with the “monster under the bed” nightmare.  Toddler stuff gives toddlers active play ground equipment and play dates with other toddlers.  And little campers adds more things for children., which I always find good.  The new nursery kit is very cute too.  Not many expansions, game packs, kits or stuff packs focus on younger sims, but add a few small activities for them.  The parenting game pack, and Growing together expansion pack bring a lot for children’s play though.

Although pet stuff doesn’t have the best rating because it has some items for cats and dogs,  my kid sims love it!  Some of the furniture matches the children’s furniture in cats and dogs, completing it.  And, the Hamster interactions are cute. Pastel pop ( build ) carnaval streetwear kit, urban Homage (CAS ), Grunge Revival ( CAS ),  Goth kit ( CAS ),  and party essentials ( Build ), are good for teens.

if you are into active activities, bowling stuff and fitness stuff are good stuff packs  too I think.  Romantic garden stuff is good if you like making fancy gardens, and comes with a lot of new plants.  Blooming rooms kit has plants and and plant shelves too.  Speaking of plants I also like the greenhouse kit.

for dens and bedrooms booknook, comfy gamer, and basement treasure have some cute items I use a lot of, and  Industrial loft kit matches some of the cabinets in basegame perfectly.  Artist Studio is also cute if you have artists. Restoration workshop is good for your handy sims.

if you you are looking for some cute sleepwear, underwear, or bathing suits,  there are skintimates ( lingerie ), Sweet Slumber party, and poolside splash are good kits.  Sweet Allure a very feminine pack with lots of bows. For Elder sims Golden years kit is good.

Very popular stuff packs are Laundry day stuff, nifty knitting stuff, Paranormal stuff.,  chef’s hustle stuff, and Crystal Creations. 

Bathroom clutter, everyday clutter, and kitchen clutter kits add a lot of accents.

I have Backyard and Vintage Glamour

Honestly only have Backyard since it was bundled with GP I wanted ages ago
and I was still buying all my packs from physical stores back then 😅
otherwise might not have it tbh

but if I think about feature that keeps me using that SP over and over again it would be the wind chimes
use those all over the place as I love listening to them 😅
especially love to use them in Mt.Komorebi if you have Snowy Escape, just so peaceful 🥰

probably the vanity is most used item in my game,
so many bedrooms and dressing rooms I put that in by now 🥰
I just love that we have some more gameplay to put in those boring master bedrooms :)

oh! and that globe bar thats everywhere cause its just like only actually lowkey bar we have
and that nightgown that was mentioned before yeah, thats in heavy use for sure.
but I do use this SP quite a lot in my builds and on my sims since I like my sims fancy 😁

Vintage Glamour: I have still never used a butler in my game, but maybe I will try it someday. Anyway, the hairs in this pack are my favourites and I really like the long dress and long dressing gown + the jewellery. I also love the globe bar (I use it a lot) and curtains too. Vanity table is good too. I love it when kids use it!

Backyard: The clothes are okay, I like the shoes and some of the female shirts. The water slides are fun and wind chimes are lovely.

Backyard Stuff - CAS has some very nice tops and the water slide is a nice addition to parks and pool lots from Get Together as sims will go autonomously and use it.

Country Kitchen - Mostly works best with Cottage Living if you own that pack, the style is similar but different.

First Fits - I don't own this one but I do like the look of the items, I know it's for kids but I wish they could have converted some of those so that teens could wear them.

Vintage Glamour - I own this pack but it's a style that I don't really like, and I never use the butler either. I can imagine that if you like to build and play large mansions then the butler would be useful. I used this pack a little when I was playing Get Famous.

Vintage Glamour: I use a lot of the CAS items, like the gowns and tops. The globe bar is a staple for pretty much all my households, especially those that don't have enough room for a proper bar. I also use the white vase with the pink flowers a lot as well as the tray with the cosmetics. I haven't yet had a household whose vibe matches the rest of build/buy, but I like most of the pieces. I just hardly ever use them. Also, I have never tried the butler because so far, he wouldn't fit in with my households.

Backyard: Love that one for its build/buy! I have this one household living at Hound's Head in Brindleton Bay, and their back garden is full of stuff from that pack - there's a water slide (the one with the shark), wind chimes, butterflies, some of the furniture (dining table with matching chairs), the tray with the drinks... and most of the stuff can be used indoors as well, like the fairy lights or the trays. 

First Fits: Has some very cute stuff for kids; I especially like the outfit with the backpack and use it a lot. Plus, most of the clothes work for both girls and boys.

Country Kitchen: Lovely and matches Cottage Style pretty well, though it has a slightly shabbier and worn look to it. Works surprisingly well with shabby builds - one of my Sims lives in a rather decrepit house in Moonwood Mill (I think New Moon Shack's the name), and the items from this pack fit in perfectly with the overall shabby style of the house. 

My sims wear the  dressing gown a lot.  I like the butlers and use them with wealthy families, but it can be annoying if you play rotationally because the butler tends to get switched out with someone else.

I occasionally remember to use the dressing tables but I really love the globe bar.  Some of the other furniture is great in wealthy households.

Romantic Garden, Toddler and Nifty Knitting 🎉💻🎉

Vintage glamour: I regularly use some of the furniture like the bed and the vanity table. The vanity table is mostly for decorations, not gameplay but l like to add them to fancy bedrooms. The globe bar is an essential when my sims throw a party. Instantly 6 drinks with no time lost mixing. Some of the clothing is also very nice, especially the long dress and fancy bathrobe. I have not yet tested the butler.

Back yard stuff: I mainly bought this as a completionist and shortly after my real life kids had used a similar water slide. Just like it's real life counterpart, the sims 4 version barely gets any use. There are a few items that get used in my builds but that's about it.

Country kitchen: I prefer the cottage living counters because they have less curtains. I do like the appliances and rest of the clutter. 

First fits: I don't have many cas kits but this is one of the few I might consider.

As for your later additions 

Romantic garden: I like some of the cas, especially one hair. I occasionally use the wishing well when I want to resurrect a sim in a non-spellcaster household. 

Toddler stuff: I got this at release when we had very little toddler CAS. It has a lot of cute items. I also like the toddler slide and to a lesser extent the ball pit for public playgrounds. I tried toddler dates once but the inviting parent has to know the toddler which makes it impractical to set up

Nifty knitting: one of my absolute favourite kits. I have a lot of sims with knitting as a hobby. The outfit for newborns and infants are cute, the decorative craftables items are nice,... I like the cas as well. And plopsy, awful name but a great addition to sell all kinds of craftables. This stuff pack is a must have for me.
