It's not a big deal, but why do we keep getting items with english writing? Why isn't it in simlish? First it was the It's On Us shirts, now the Moschino collab. Those are the ones I know of, not sure if there are build/buy items too. I honestly don't like to complain, and usually don't, but for some reason this just annoys me, lol. Simlish is one of those details that make the Sims games so charming. There's now even an asian equivalent to simlish thanks to the Chinese New Year items, which I love and I truly appreciate that work and attention to detail. I guess the actual reason these items are in english is for promotion, but it kinda saps some of the charm and continuity from the game. I know not everyone will agree, but imo they're out of place.edit: english and italian. that doesn't make a difference, lol. point is still the same. any real world language.

I prefer English. I do wish Simlish options were available for those who prefer it.

'Moschino' is not only the name of the brand, but what's printed on the sweater is the actual logo, which happens to be the brand name. I just imagine it looks to my Sims the way that Simlish looks to me. Well, that's not entirely true because I actually I don't care enough about it to have to imagine anything.

I'm still wondering why people keep saying "Moschino" is English when it's not. It's an Italian brand. :/ Anyway, I don't really care all too much since my Sims ain't about to wear that hoodie, but I can certainly understand not liking the idea of real world languages in the game. Imo, they should have just removed the word all together. People would still recognize the hoodie as being part of the collab with the Freezer Bunny design alone.

I agree. I'm also a firm believer that the Sims universe shouldn't be too close to our reality because then it ends up brushing against political and social issues and things get gimped or don't get done at all because of "sensitivity". If The Sims remain in their own universe, they have their own standard of "normal", nothing is personal and anything is possible.

When we say "english" in this context, we usually mean Latin script. Which yes, is quite annoying and breaks the established world, honestly. Brand deals, I swear to heck.Why not at least give us a Simlish swatch???

I wish it was in Simlish too. If someone uploads a fix for it, I will probably end up getting that. I did the same thing for the "It's On Us" shirt.

I am not too bothered about the clothing (yet) since I will probably never use it anyways :D (I hope no random townies will pop up wearing that). I just hope the songs will always be in simlish. I almost never listen to music in Sims 4 but I still remember some of my favourite songs from TS2.

am not bother by it either we have a shirt from the base game "it's on us" plain English not a big deal if new shirts if in English my sims ain't going care nor should I.

Some of us don't really like having real life logos in The Sims in the first place. Especially not if the logo has written Latin script in it. Some of us like to play it as an escape from reality.

I got the Simlish override now, as well as a bunch of blank versions of the hoodie. Pretty sure I'll be using the blank recolors more.

Why not just make promotional items optional?! I don't understand why they force it into everyone's games.

I don’t like it either, especially the moschino logos. I’ve been looking for cc that removes the moschino logo from the tops. No luck so far. I found cc that removes the baby Ariel heart from tops soon after GF came out.
