Last Exceptions?

I get these too. Like you, usually about two or three and not all the time. I think they might occur when I have sims suddenly jump out of an interaction. I have a few mods but not many and mostly tuning.

These are log files the game generates when an 'exception' occurs inside the game while you are playing (no matter if you see something strange happen or not). They contain text, information that can be useful for The Sims team under certain circumstances. For example, we might ask you to share one of these files with us when you are reporting a bug if we think the information can be useful for that particular issue you are telling us about.

But you don't need to worry about the LastException files. You can safely delete them if you want, it's also ok leaving them be where they are. :)

I wouldn't say last exceptions are normal - they generally say when there is something not right in the game. If you are using mods, you generally don't need to worry about this unless something doesn't work. But I would not expect last exceptions to occur if you don't use any mods or cc. Have you tried to repair your game via Origin? Perhaps it will help you get rid of the last exceptions.

I usually get them with MC Command Center. It is just small error files in your game. I've only had them happen due to mod clashes, or outdated mods, but never a fully vanilla game. My last exceptions used to prevent my kid from sleeping. If it gets to a game breaking level like almost getting your child taken away, I would try to investigate, or read it with Pretty Print XML.

Thank you for your comments. EA_Mai explained last exceptions very well. Thankfully, I have no game play problems at all. I did notice that I only get them whenever I visited festivals or I have to reset a sim. I do not worry about them any more :)
