Ikr. And yet I've been very tempted to use mushrooms as additives, just because my teen sim is pretty poor (she lives on her own) and she'd harvested some at the spice festival, so they were the only additives she had and I was itching to try it out. But then I decided to spare some money and buy flower seeds instead since she's already unlucky and stressed enough as it is, living on her own in a needs TLC apartment, with a crappy income, and the principal reminding her every other day how poorly she's performing at school (dude u try holding down a job and finishing homework while continuously fixing problems around the house), without also smelling like a mushroom. It just felt cruel xD - How was I the first to find out wild flowers are broken?

kind of curious about that, too, @catloverplayer. while i know many have gardener sims already in place growing everything (i do, mostly on spliced plants) and community gardens for their sims to visit (i do, a 64x64 botanical garden that tries to have at least one of every plant and tree in the game, harvestable or not. this one gets rough with the size limit, but shrinking trees down has been quite helpful) but i figured there'd also be others that started a brand new household for the laundry pack and they would have seen the 'can't harvest these flowers' bit that way (in fact, that might actually be what the original poster was asking about, now that we know of that issue...)
also, for the 'smell bad with food', i'm fairly certain it's meant as a mischief thing. sneaking the food into another sim's or household's basin or machine. though i do wonder if glutton sims will like their clothes smelling like food... (don't yet have the pack 'cause vet bills, alas. wasn't interested in laundry at all, but like a lot of the cas and buy/build stuff. but now that i see how in depth they've gone with the laundry...maybe...)
It's likely a bug caused by the Dec or Jan Update. Dec Update broke the cloud/stargaze with in Myshuno so these updates do break stuff.- Hello
This is a link to a guide on upgrades and additives. You need to have handiness level 6 to be able add the Laundry additive tray.

Wildflowers are broken right now and can't be picked. I've reported this to SimGuruArvin on Twitter. Discovered it tonight. Even sent my sim to the park and none are pickable.
I have the Laundry Pack and I just harvested wild bluebells in Willow Creek and wild lilies in Sylvan Glade, both worked normally. Which flowers were you trying to pick?"rosemow;c-16276050" wrote:

@rosemow once again you are the best- I have tried adding flowers into my clean wash tub, but every time my clothes come out as being "soiled" and not clean. Not sure why this would be, am sure the water is clean in the basin and have only added flowers of pristine quality or higher. Anyone else with this problem?

Hello
Try using the options to “ clean laundry additives” and “ replace water “ , then see if that helps."Nh6650;c-16275594" wrote:

Torture prison. Or regular prison as punishment for misbehaving.
College prank? Kids/teens pranking parents? Not sure if that would work. In a washtub the smell is pretty noticeable, so no way the pranked sim wouldn't notice it. But I haven't tried despoiling a washer yet, it might just work there.
I also plan to use foul smelling clothes when I play a castaway or homeless challenge next to simulate how awful even washed clothes can smell under these circumstances. That would be a case of gameplay/story seperation, though, because even though I direct the sims to add foul foood to the washtub, in-story it didn't happen.- GalacticGal8 years agoLegend

I have to laugh about adding food. Currently, there's been a commercial on TV about needing a new Downey fabric conditioner, so that your clothes don't smell like the BBQ you were at, or the steak house — especially when you told your boss you had a dental appointment. :open_mouth:
