It sounds like you’ve really found a good rhythm with the laundry! I like how you’ve split up the chores without much need for discussion, and it’s funny how the “trust can only go so far” rule applies to ironing. I totally get it though, sometimes you just have to take ownership of certain tasks. The separate basket for yard and dog clothes is a smart touch too—keeps everything in order.
