You agreeing with someone's opinion is not the same as them being the only "honest" reviewer. As if, when it comes to taste, there's only one single true answer (and that just happens to be the one you agree with xD). I don't understand why it is so hard for some simmers to understand that there are people who actually enjoy this game for what it is. And that not all the reviewers you disagree with are "fake" (even if, yes, EA, and pretty much any other company in the world, is more likely to work with YouTubers that like their products since these are "mutually promotional" relationships if you will). These reviewers just have a different view of the game than you do. And I think you underestimate their intelligence when you think they never point out the things they don't like. All that being said, why can we never get an LGR review and accept it for what it is: a review. Not a reason to attack other people or calling them fake or wrong or stupid (for liking or for not liking one man's review). And yes, I do like them, but these responses are kinda annoying anyway.
I suggest you take your own advice there.
No one is calling people who enjoy the game fake, wrong or stupid. That is a completely different topic. If you derail the subject and make it personal to Simmer’s Individual tastes this thread will be closed.
This is discussing Lgr and his review and the game. It’s not personal to people. Discuss the game not people. - IT gives you new items and a diversion for awhile but as a whole I don't think it compare with World Adventure cheap shot EA.
- He is right. The world is beautiful, but once you start to tire of the gameplay, it starts to lose its charm. Then it just becomes another sporadic place to visit. I think builders will get more out of it.

I consider LGR an honest reviewer because he doesn’t allow companies to corrupt him. Not because I do or don’t agree with him (sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t). Simmers who get benefits and then review are corrupted, you can’t trust them. That doesn’t mean they will always lie, it means you just never can tell. With reviewers like LGR you can.- stilettoblack7 years agoRising NewcomerI think he is getting lazy with his reviews. This one seemed really rushed, an where was Duke Nukem?
- Duke is taking a well earned vacation somewhere else, lol.

Well, I mean, "lazy game reviews" is his name :)

His review is exactly what I expected. None of the fake-sounding "ohh and ahh" squeals like that of the EA game changers. I am beginning to not trust any of the game changers reviews on all of the Sims 4 content.
Out of curiosity, why is it automatically fake sounding if it's positive, but it's fine if it's overwhelmingly negative? (This one wasn't, but a lot of his reviews are)
I actually like Deligracy a lot, she usually provides constructive criticism. She was one of the youtubers that spoke out against the ball pit textures. She also pointed out a few things with Jungle Adventure that she disliked, such as the lack of island counters to match, and the counters we got in the first place are pretty ugly. She also pointed out that we got some very nice wall tiles, but no floors to match. - Luckylunayre7 years agoNew Spectator

So me sensing the EA game changers reviews as sounding very fake is offensive? It is just they way seem to come off as. I don't agree with every review from any specific Youtuber, but I can honestly tell when they do not appear to be honest. Honest reviews have both negative and positive in them. This particular one stated the gameplay was good, if you already like the limitations of Sims 4. So for those that dislike the limitations, it sounds like it will not improve the game.
Personally, I stopped watching CAS and build/buy mode overviews as those are where I hear most of the fake-sounding squeals. Noticed that particularly the fake squeals coming from primarily all the EA game changers. If EA wanted me to trust sponsored reviews of their games, they failed. The sponsered game changers sound too fake.
I watch multiple lets plays for information on the actual gameplay content, which can show the both negatives as well as positives. I also watch LGR for a more critical look of the game as his seems to sound more of the no-nonsense variety. I may not always agree with him, but I at least feel that this and other reviews of his concerning Sims 4 are more honest.
Generally, it's pretty offensive when you call someone fake, or fake sounding.
And if you think squealing at build buy is fake, then I'm as fake as it gets. I was oohing and ahhing to myself at all the build/buy stuff that came with the pack, because I love a lot of it and see a use for a lot of it, ESPECIALLY the new floors/walls.
Some people are builders, like Deligracy who does a lot of builds. New build and buy things are what they get the most excited about.
I have squealed over more items than I can count. The Hanging Light bulb from laundry day, the fire places from Cats and dogs etc. "Zeldaboy180;c-16356247" wrote:

Those are "Things" and not game play.
