I keep my heirs in their ancestral home, quite often in their childhood bedroom! However, I may need to rethink things for my aging off saves, as there will be 3 generations (possibly) of heirs living in the same house. Might need to use a retirement home or something. I also play all my playable sims, rotation style. So the family just grows and grows lol.
A retirement home would be cute, lol! I’m currently working on a rotational save, too, & am already wondering how I’m going to handle it once the family grows, lol.

That's cool. How's yours going?
I use the same house for mine, but add to it, like with new modern technology or new hedge designs which gives it a changing with the times feel to it ?
In my game my Sims' family has been living on the ground of an old church for over 5 families generations. It's slowly but surely being restyled but the original families presence remains.
It’s going well, thanks! I have a house & a husband, lol, so now I’m just trying to make some money so they can afford all of the cute new infant items when they have a baby. ;) :p That is awesome that you’re 5 generations in!

I keep the original house but rebuild some parts/add on to the house as i go
My sim family i'm using for my Legacy save currently has 6 kids....with another one on the way- (I use mods- More specifically MCCC. I could have 9999 sims in a household if i wanted. not going to though but imagine having that many babies/toddlers/children 0.0)
Oh, man. I feel like 999 sims in a household would be impossible without cheats, LOL!
