1: How do you define masculine? Usually things done by men, wanted by men, worn by men, interests men are usually into etc. Done by a man. Typical to a man.
2: What does your masculine sim like to do?
Anything he wants. Hard to answer this really. If you mean in regards to his gender/sex? Then he doesnt do anything that typically a woman only would do. For example wear skirts (noncultural ones), dresses etc. He also does not and cannot give birth. He does not have breast and does not wear underwear designed for women.
3: What career would your masculine sim like?
All my male sims are masculine because they are all men. Id like to see more blue collar work in game - construction, warehouse, manufacturing, agriculture etc. I also want this for my female sims. But my men will work any job.
4: What would your masculine sim like to wear?
He wears clothes designed for men that are not feminine. This can encompass many styles. But I dont have like a fleet of big, burly lumberjacks all over my game, all my men dress to their own personal style but within my accepted realm of appropriateness.
5: Does your masculine sim have/want body hair?
Why not? I typically dont add it because I dont like body hair on anyone. But im not opposed.
When I play the sims I do not blur the line between male and female. I also dont think its hard for the sims team to add basic clothes for men i just dont think they want to lol.
Your number 4 point hits at what I am getting at. The options for clothing. Your masculine sims wear clothes to their own personal style. So if it were available to them, would many of them, would some dress more like the lumberjack? Obviously not all but some?
Number 3 "...but my men will work any job." This is true but I'm not talking about the cookie-cutter male in the game. I'm talking about jobs that are like you said, "blue collar."
As for the definition of masculine being because their men. I disagree with this. There are, in real life, very feminine men and very masculine women. So to me, masculinity can not be so easily defined.
