Obviously I don't know the logistics of the calendar/ custom holiday creator, but I'm assuming after a Sim dies, you could schedule a dinner party/create a custom holiday where everyone has to wear black, and some socials to celebrate the deceased sims life/mourn. Add a few items with the sad emotional aura just to really ramp up the hysterics, and every year on the same date, have the Sims come together in a memorial if it was an important Sim or the head of the household?
I suppose you could technically do this now, but this will make it so much easier to manage.

It's things like this that makes me very excited about the possibilities also. Regular holidays are nice and all but I have a feeling that won't be my major use for this tool. I can't wait to see what is included in it's workings.
