Have to admit that other than the actual weather, the calendar is the feature I'm most looking forward to. I micromanage my game down to the smallest detail. I have three toddlers in my game and I know exactly who they're going to marry. I haven't created their future spouses yet but I will. :p I don't like drama, unexpected pregnancies, etc. If I don't plan for it to happen it's not happening. :p Hopefully the calendar will allow me to get rid of all my little post it notes sticking to my monitor. :) I'm not a spur of the moment person. Not in real life, and not in my game. I know exactly what I'm going to do every time I load my game.

because it is. It indeed reveals we all play and experience this game in such entirely different ways and I can see how this feature indeed will fit your playing style as a glove. In that respect there simply is no right or wrong here. The calendar isn’t mandatory by the way so if it doesn’t suit someone they can just leave it, you don’t have to use every feature a pack has to offer. Or use it just on occasion. You could also use it to ‘paint’ different characters. One sim not being bothered by the calendar at all, just living their life randomly, the other sim living an organized and scheduled life.
