The calendar allows you plan dates ahead of time, but @SimGuruEmory shared that the pop up invites would have taken too long to change in order for you to be able to postpone them. That's a shame. I think what I'll do then, is if my sim gets invited on a date at a bad time, I'll say no but then schedule a date for a time that suits. So if they ask my sim out for breakfast, I can say no but schedule a breakfast date for the next day. That way it's almost like they rang and my sim arranged a time with them, rather than my sim saying no and then asking them out later/ never asking because I forgot all about it.
