Gardening is one of my favourite aspects of the Sims, and I know there are other players obsessed with their Sim plants, so I thought I'd start a thread for sharing tips, tricks, questions and annoyan...

@luxysylvan, yep, boost to grown when in-season and planted outside is indeed a real thing. I'm rotating garden and floral both with the seasons. I play with 3-week long seasons, I guess it might be tedious doing it if my seasons were shorter, but I'm enjoying it.
I have 18 garden plants outside, as well as about 14 floral ones in the front flower beds, and only 8 indoor pots though, so I have to decide what gets to grow off season and everything else is just dormant. The lot has limited space, no room for a greenhouse, so I just have the front patio to work with. I could add some pots inside the house or on the 2nd floor balcony, I guess, but ascetics are also a factor. No trees get to grow off-season for this reason.
Overall, having a lot of fun with it though. I'm just like you, every Sim generation has at least one sim who gardens....it's just something I can't help myself from doing.
