I agree with most of it. I need a place to recall the deaths in The Sims 2 where Grim would turn up with two huladancing ladies. I have NOT bought the expansion, and just with the "updates" I am so sad, that when one of my sims die, I can only choose to let them "go to the underworld". This is the darkest place in my opinion, and I sincerely want a better, brighter place, too like "let them pass the rainbow bridge" or "go towards the light". Why was it changed with the updates? I was pretty satisfied with "go to the afterlife" option.

I agree. Those two buttons shouldn't be pulsating for every sim. I really love to have those options, especially the one to switch occult status, but I don't need them for every single sim. They don't need to pulsate or blink all the time.

My only complaint after playing for a couple days - and not being that much into souls and grims, is the blinking/spinning and annoying new icon in CAS suggesting that every sim I create must be a ghost or other occult. I really hope this blinking will be gone shortly, before it drives me nuts...

For me, the culling happened before the Life & Death Pack. It might be related to the limited population.
"Neighbourhood Stories" Toggle-off is 100% effective to me. I disable it for every household so I can say that. If there is any change, it might be another function.
By the way, MCCC mod can completely disable culling, so I don't worry much. Just not sure to add more population.

coloncocon It culls Sims without you, too?! This is wild, and a very strong "no" for me for this pack. I wouldn't check Other Households nearly enough. I already stress over Neighbourhood Stories ("off" isn't always effective?!) and Aging.

Karamazov123Thanks for flagging this! If I got this pack it wouldn't be for the Reaper career (I'm more interested in grief and bucket lists and such), but this is absolutely wild and so not okay! They need to offer a toggle in Game Options to turn it off, at the very least.

This is hilarious. Thanks for sharing! I'm now curious about how some of the other NPC ghosts will be dressed when resurrected.

I think this is well-worded. I've been through much of the same things (lost my mom when I was 9 and my dad when I was 19), however with 40 years old closer than 35 now, I'm definitely at a different stage of the process. I'm also not usually one for supernatural things, and yet I find this pack to be well-done, IF it's in your style. There's no way I would be playing that content fresh with grief, and it's for that same reason that I currently don't play a family with pets-- I lost one recently and the grief of losing her is still too fresh for me. So is it for everyone? Absolutely not. But if they continue to, as you eloquently worded it, balance different themes and types of packs, then this is just another thing they've added to optionally add. The modular nature of the game and the packs one chooses to own/install is one of the beautiful things about it.
