I was seriously considering reinstalling ts4, despite all the bugs, then I heard about this. Don't get me wrong I understand. EA is a big company that saw an opportunity to make more money and took it. But why should we have to pay extra for our sims to have personalities? Something that should have been in the game from the beginning and we can get for free with mods? In a game advertised to have weirder stories and more unique sims? I was a little sad when they attached story progression phone calls to EL but this just crushed me. Instead of improving the base game with something that honestly sounds like it would do wonders for gameplay as a whole, they put it behind a paywall.
I really want to believe that this will just be in addition to a complete personality overhaul done via patch but I don't think this is the case. I would love to be wrong and if I am i'd be pleasantly surprised but I don't think I can take anymore disappointment from this game. I will hold off on reinstalling until I see where this is headed.
