I actually don't think it was that great... It added a lot of little things that were nice like events for teens and learning to drive, but it was also annoying because it took away a lot of players' autonomy and made parent sims discipline their children and enforced curfews.
Just ot let you know: you don't need to buy every single pack for The Sims, specially if you feel like it limits your play style.
