Adult sims could get midlife crises wants which means they were unable to be removed from the wants section until the timer expired.
What exactly were these wants? Could you give some examples please?
Did the midlife crisis change autonomy or add anything else to that Sim's behaviour?
I've seen a number of youtubers say they want midlife crisis, but they describe some event where the Sim may leave and you have no control over it. Is that at all what midlife crisis was like in Sims 3?
For example your sim could get a midlife crisis want to leave their partner, buy a new expensive car, move homes, etc. It's like a major event in their life that they want to change. However if you accept these wants you can't right click them away like normal wants. You either fulfill the want or wait until it expires. I think they last a few days. There is no way for your sim to leave without your control, they might be a bit confused.
The fun thing about these midlife crisis wants is that you can think of them as your sim having a passing thought of doing something so drastic and not act on them, or you can decide that your sim actually wants to do this.
