@gololobovovi Weird. If you weren't seeing the stars, I'd say double-check to make sure you don't have fame frozen or something. (Erm, not that I've ever frozen my Sims' fame and them promptly forgot about it and then wondered why I wasn't gaining fame anymore... no personal experience there. ;) ) But I'm pretty sure when fame is frozen, you don't see the stars, because you're not gaining.
Anyways, if it really is stuck and not just slow and hard to notice, you might want to screencap it and report it as a bug.
I have had several times when I really thought I wasn't gaining anything, and I was, just painfully slowly. (I noticed it once only because two Sims were gaining at roughly the same time, and I could see the tiny bit one had gained over the other when they did something.)
