I figured out screenshots, but not how to host them. I have not hosted pictures for a forum in years. My other forums allow me to upload pictures, not just supply a link.
I started my game over. It had all gone wonky from how I planned. I had uploaded my house before I started playing in it. I uploaded the original sim that I was playing, too. I just downloaded them again and plan to have my runaway teen drop out of school immediately this time. Her attending school caused her lifestyles to drop.
My house is 2X3 with a 14 tile porch. I have 20 tiles altogether when I count the porch.
For the house, I deleted the grill. Last time she lit it on fire the first time she used it even with an alarm and a sprinkler. I bought her a few paper crafts from Seasons and few pieces of clutter like soap and a roll of toilet paper not on a holder and paper plates. I bought a journal and sold all the books except two. Then I put her money to $23.00. It just seamed like a realistic amount for her to have with her backstory. She needs to earn that grill and be ready for it. In the meantime, she is using a community grill and bringing the food back to put away in the fridge.
My goal is to have no bills. When she gets money, she will take vacations, not raise her lot taxes because she has so much stuff and money. I want her to garden only what she finds and not let it become too much of the gameplay. I'd rather have her make her vacation money from fishing.
The half-wall between the toilet and bed acts as a headboard for the bed. I had to use MOO to do that. I have had no glitches with the headboard in the wall and the foot of the bed in the windowbox. But when I used a bunkbed correctly I had all sorts of trouble. I had very few glitches and no bills the last time I played this sim with this house, so I am going to use them again. It would be better if I was only using official offgrid appliances, but I got away with this setup last time.
I will have her buy earbuds as soon as possible. She has her journal. There are two books left. I will have her go to the libraries instead of school and she will build her skills much faster that way.
And hopefully I can buy the decorations box in time for love day. She likes it when I just change the color of the Seasons papercrafts for each holiday and season. The house looks so different when it is decorated from the box. It keeps things interesting and the box can be stored in the inventory when it is not being used.
This sim's relationship with Greg was interesting and I want to explore that even further this time without having to worry about her getting dragged to school at the most inconvenient moments. It was so cute when he hugged her, and he followed her home once and slept outside her house.
I have no mods or CC in the game at all. Sometimes the only thing I add is the offgrid teapot and/or betterbuildbuy. I think I will play totally vanilla this time.
