Locals in Salvadorada

Doesn't every world (except Newcrest I guess?) have a certain amount of the same townies in it by default? FH has Vlad. CL has ... I forget her name. Windenburg has those default clubs of townies. Etc.

And as for someone your Sim met being back, even if they're not, you can just call them up if you know them, right? I'm not sure how the culling thing works but I don't think it's immediate or something.

I can't tell which Sims are the locals and which are just homeless townies.

They live there though. The ones in Selvadorana are unhoused.

Technically, they're all unhoused - there are no residential lots in Selvadorana - but they seem to show up only there?

I imagine they live in those cute houses with the vegetable plots outside. we cant go there but they can.

They're mostly the same, although now and then the game seems to spawn a new one. You'll meet most of them if you hang out long enough in the cantina. In my game, even the vendors seem to hang out there when they are off duty.

@catloverplayer, I think the only real difference is that the "locals" are the ones with Hispanic names and they are mostly wearing clothing from the GP (although they are actually all homeless, as Luthien says). There are also a couple with European names - I am not sure whether they are supposed to represent expats, or tourists.

By the way, the locals don't necessarily all look Hispanic. In fact, many of mine looked distinctly oriental :/ (that's Sims 4 for you!) until I edited them in Household Management to make them look the way I imagine they should.
