ok i figured it out and don't need the mod. You lock the doors for everyone. Click on one sim you want access to and unlock it for them. Then go select your other sim and make the door unlock for that person. So you have to do it per sim. There isn't a list of names and pictures like the mod (which is WAY more convenient). But don't need the mod anymore.
