Long Life

So, a friend and I were debating. I'm thinking of starting a rotational game on the long life setting, which I've never used. She says this is "cheating" because Sims will be able to earn more skills, money, etc in a lifetime and will make the game dull and easy. So my question is: Do you consider playing on long life cheating or not?

Now that the game has so much more content than it did at launch, I consider Long lifespan to be "Normal." Your sim doesn't have time to enjoy life or experience much if you use Normal or Short. Normal might be desirable if you don't rotate because it'll help reduce boredom. But now that our sims can attend college, it's necessary to switch to Long or pause aging just to earn a degree or two.
  • As more packs are added you have more things to do and achieve.
A long life is actually preferable.
  • I don't even have aging on. Play the way it makes you happy. I don't consider anything I do as cheating.
